A high interest rate can make even an affordable business credit card too expensive. Luckily, plenty of credit card companies offer an intro APR period with a 0% interest rate. That way, you don’t have to worry about credit card interest―at least for a little while.
Sounds like a bargain, right? That’s why we’ve found the best business credit card options that offer a 0% introductory APR period. And we’ve compared other card factors―like ongoing interest rates, rewards programs, signup bonus offers, and more―to bring you the very best no-interest small-business credit cards.
Chase’s Ink Business Cash Credit Card is our top pick, but we found plenty of other good choices too. Let’s save you some cash on credit card interest.
- : Best overall business credit card with no annual fee
- : Best for instant approval
- : Best flat-rate rewards
- : Best for foreign transactions

Business credit card expenses
As we’ve already said, a 0% APR (annual percentage rate) gives you a chance to save money on credit card interest―because you won’t accrue any.
But interest isn’t the only business credit card expense you’ll have, and even the best 0% intro APR period lasts only so long. So let’s make sure you know what costs to expect from a small-business credit card.
First, you’ve got fees. Some business credit cards (and personal credit cards, for that matter) charge an annual fee for use. Even if you get a card with no annual fee (which is entirely possible, as you’ll see), you may have other card fees:
- Foreign transaction fee
- Balance transfer fee
- Employee card fee
- Cash advance fee
- Late payment fee
All those fees will start day one―even during your introductory APR period.
And as we said, that intro APR period won’t last forever. So make sure you know exactly how long yours does last, since you’ll start accruing interest immediately afterward. In most cases, you’ll end up with a variable rate, which means your interest rate can change over time.
Of course, the best practice for any business owner with a credit card is to simply pay off your credit card balance in full each month. That way, you’ll never have to worry about paying interest―even after your introductory APR ends.
Ink Business Cash Credit Card: Best overall 0% interest business credit card
Data effective as of 12/19/22. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
The Ink Business Cash Credit Card from Chase Bank is our favorite 0% interest credit card for most business owners. (It’s also our favorite business credit card, period.)
So what makes the Ink Business Cash Credit Card top our rankings? Well, the interest rates sure help. While the Ink Business Cash Credit Card doesn’t have the longest introductory APR we’ve seen (that would be the U.S. Bank Business Platinum Card below), it does give you a full year of 0% introductory interest. And after that, you’ll get a 16.99% to 22.99% variable APR for your ongoing card use.
But that’s just one feature. We also love the Ink Business Cash Credit Card’s reward program. It gives you―you guessed it―cash back on your business purchases. You can earn up to 5% cash back (the highest reward rate we’ve found on a business credit card). Plus, the Ink Business Cash Credit Card has a generous welcome bonus, giving you the chance to earn an additional $900 (more than most cash back cards offer).
Then there’s the fact that the Ink Business Cash Credit Card doesn’t charge an annual fee or employee card fee―and has competitive fees otherwise―and we think it’s clear you’ve got yourself a top-notch small-business credit card.
We will say, though, that not every business owner will love the Ink Business Cash Credit Card. Its sky-high reward rate applies only to eligible purchases (the first $25,000 you spend on internet, phone, cable, and office supply company expenses in a year). Most purchases earn 1% (though your first $25,000 in gas and restaurant cost earn 2%). So depending on where and how you spend, you may not earn as much cash as you’d like.
Considering all the Ink Business Cash Credit Card has going for it, though―from rates to rewards―it’s still our highest scoring 0% small-business card.
American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card: Best for instant approval
Data effective as of 12/19/22. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
Can’t wait to get your new business credit card? With the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card, you don’t have to.
See, American Express offers instant approval on its credit cards. So when you apply on its website, you can get an answer in just 30 seconds. (It’s not a guarantee, but if you have a high credit score, you’ll have better odds.) But several card issuers do that. American Express is the only credit card company, however, that also offers an immediate credit card number to business owners. So as soon as you’re approved, you can start using your new card.
And like the other cards we’ve discussed, the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card gives you a 0% intro APR period that lasts a whole year (followed by a 17.49% to 25.49% variable APR). Likewise, you won’t have to worry about common fees like an annual fee or employee card fee. Instead, you can just enjoy cash back rewards, including a welcome bonus with a generous timeframe. (Terms apply.)
In other words, if you want a good business card without the wait, the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card offers an excellent option.
Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express: A point-earning alternative
For business owners who like the sound of instant approval but would rather earn rewards points (that you can spend on gift cards, statement credit, and more), American Express also offers the Blue Business® Plus Credit Card.
Almost all the card details are the same as the Blue Business® Cash Card―no annual fee, instant approval and use, a one-year introductory APR (followed by the same 17.49% to 25.49% variable APR)―but the Blue Business® Plus Credit Card earns points instead of cash (including bonus points as a signup bonus). (Terms apply to this one too.)
So either card can work great for your business―it just comes down to your preference for cash or points.
Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card: Best flat-rate rewards
Data effective as of 12/19/22. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
Prefer a flat rewards rate to tiered rewards? The Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card from Chase offers the best flat-rate option.
While the previous cards on this list earn different reward amounts depending on where you’re spending and how much you’ve spent, the Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card earns the same rewards rate on every purchase you make: a flat 1.5%. So though it doesn’t have the highest earning potential, it means you can earn a decent amount of cash rewards without overthinking your spending.
Plus, the Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card has most of the same perks as our other Chase card pick, the Ink Business Cash Credit Card. The Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card has the same generous cash welcome bonus (a high $900), competitive fees and ongoing APR, and so on. And of course, you get the 0% intro APR period for 12 months (and then a 16.99% to 22.99% variable APR).
For simplified spending and earning, give the Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card a go.
Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business: Best for foreign transactions
Data effective as of 11/7/22. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
Does your business ever require travel and purchases outside the US? Then you should take a look at the Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business.
Most credit cards (including all the cards we’ve already discussed) charge a foreign transaction between 2% and 3% on all purchases from outside the US. Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business, however, doesn’t. It offers free foreign transactions, so you make international purchases without worrying about how the fees all add up.
Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business also gives you twelve months at a 0% interest rate (with an ongoing 18.99% to 26.99% variable APR). And it earns cash rewards at a flat rate (like the Ink Business Cash Credit Card), so you don’t have to worry about timing or placing your purchases correctly. Plus, like our other top cards, Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business won’t gouge you with any annual fee or employee card fee.
Put simply, if you want a small-business credit card that works well both domestically and internationally, the Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business offers just what you need.
Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business: A miles-earning alternative
If you’re spending much time outside the country anyway, you might find yourself more interested in travel rewards than cash rewards. Fortunately, Capital One offers a miles-based version of its Spark Select card: Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business.
The two cards work pretty comparably, but with a different APR (the Miles card has an APR of 23.99% variable). However, they have the same fees and so forth. Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business simply earns miles instead of cash―but still at a flat rate. And yes, you can get extra miles as part of your signup bonus: an extra 50,000 miles once you spend $4,500 in the first 3 months.
So whether you care more about cash or miles, there’s a Spark business card from Capital One for you.
